If you’re planning a Mother’s Day treat, bookings are now open for Sunday 15 March. Whether you’re gathering the whole family or keeping it simple with two or three of you, we’d love to welcome you for a proper celebration — good food, beautiful surroundings, and a little time together.
A little taster of what’s on the menu…
To begin, think potted salmon pâté with dill-cured cucumber and sourdough crostini, or a spring vegetable & saffron chowder with warm treacle bread — comfort with a bit of elegance.
For mains, you’ll find Sunday favourites done beautifully: rare roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and thyme roast potatoes, thyme roasted chicken breast with dauphinoise, salmon & baby spinach Wellington with parsley sauce, and a seasonal vegetarian option — asparagus and heritage beetroot nut roast with creamy white wine & herb sauce.
And for something sweet? dark chocolate & pecan brownie with honeycomb ice cream, rhubarb & custard trifle, or a bright gooseberry and candied hazelnut fool.

We’ll also be offering a traditional Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea in our beautiful Georgian Rooms, with limited availability.

Expect all the classics — finger sandwiches, scones with jam & cream, and sweet treats — served in an elegant setting that feels properly special.
