Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera (Life of Pi) takes on the title role in Shakespeare’s most enduring tragedy. Caught between expectation and doubt, surrounded by power, privilege and betrayal, young Prince Hamlet is propelled towards the ultimate question of life and death.

Directed by National Theatre Deputy Artistic Director Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Operation Mincemeat), this sharp, stylish and darkly humorous reimagining brings Hamlet vividly into the present.

Doors open at 6:30pm, and our bar will be open for you to enjoy drinks before the film. Proceeds from all screenings support The Sherborne’s charity, helping us continue to bring exceptional cultural events to the community.
