Events Officer

The Sherborne is looking for a highly organised and personable Events Officer to support the planning and delivery of our growing events programme.

This role sits at the heart of the client journey, helping to guide enquiries from the first conversation through to a successful event. The Events Officer will support both commercial and cultural events, working across private hire, weddings, dinners, talks, screenings, community events and special occasions within The Sherborne’s Grade I listed house, Pavilion, restaurant and gardens.

The role will include managing enquiries, preparing quotes, updating the events calendar, creating run sheets, coordinating information across hospitality, estates, reception and kitchen teams, and supporting clients before, during and after their event. It calls for someone who is calm under pressure, excellent with detail, confident with communication and genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome.
